Finally, I have said balls to having no money and had some t-shirts printed, y'know- for the crack.
Admittedly what with them being a first run I've tried to play it safe and not spend too much (because I really can't afford to haha) and they were worth it! To be honest I really need people to buy them but at the same time I want to keep them for myself (providing at some point I become small, medium and large)
So here they be! (wonderfully modelled by my boy Tommy B)

 Also I made some shoes, thinking I could flog them at Bright Sparks but due to evil forces of doom it was cancelled and my plans for a slightly least black hole-ish bank balance were quaffed... But never mind I suppose they'll be other chances!!

Independent work ahoy!

So I've been doing bits and pieces for Indy P lately, the main thing was their Freshers Wall Planner which I've loved doing (except for making the actual calander part, that was a nightmare) I've just sent it over to the Indy P lads so fingers crossed they like it

And I've been doing some work for the ASBO crew too, even though its taken me forever... Here's a rough poster idea :)

A present for Tommy B

Because he's amazing and helps me through all kinds of crap I made my lovely lover Tom this panda canvas, that green background was a bitch but he's worth 4 coats and a new tube of paint ^_^

Not so much a tall order as a size 7 order...

So crownheartstar haven't been selling an awful lot on folksy which was disappointing but I did get a message off a lovely young lady asking me to do her some shoes :) I asked her what she liked and I hope I've done her proud, it's her birthday present too so I'll be heartbroken if she doesn't love them!!

Independent work, or something like that

So I've been doing the Freshers wall planner for the Indy P crew and whilst making bits and bobs for it this has come about! I hang out with Tom too much, hence the willy which is his artistic influence I suppose...



I've still got loads to do, had a shit week last week and got barely anything done so need to put pen to extreme paper NOW!

This post is dedicated to my Grandpa Dave who very sadly passed away this time last week, I'll never forget his big booming laugh, his wok belly and his mustachy kisses (which were always prickly). I loved him very much and he won't be forgetten- I'm pretty sure he wouldn't let us forget him. Thanks for always showing an interest in crownheartstar Grandpa, you're happy at sea now with Great Nana Masie xx

This is totally silly, but basically I wanted to put the conversation up that came along with me drawing on these bananas because it made me laugh (potentially it won't amuse anyone else but whatever)

Panda Funk Team on the brain??

So as a few of you may know, two forces of awesome have now been officially joined by the means of a tiny heart on facebook. Win. <3
I am of course reffering to the awesome power of myself and Thomas 'the boy' Boyle of Panda Funk Team fame!! But enough of this mushy "I'm so happy" shit, we artistic types show our feelings through rad work (as he has done for me already)

5 things can be said for certain about Tom;

1. He is an amazing artist/ comic creator
2. His favourite colours are orange and green
3. His favourite band are Daft Punk
4. His pints come with holes in them
5. He LOVES Pandas.

And so I did this with him in mind (literally) ^_^

He's a very special boy. To me at least.

I could go through and try to explain every image but I'll save that boring process for my sketchbook if you don't mind! I hope you like it, well actually I do and that's all that matters ;) When the real life books rock up I'll take pictures (well as long as it turns out right or the only pictures there'll be are me in a ball crying).
I'm so proud of this, it literally took solid, hardcore, up till 2am, working for a few weeks to polish up- but it was definately worth it, the images on the proper page layouts look even more insane :3
Cheers to Shirley my tutor for helping me tackle typefaces on the final thing too. I hate typography for the most part...

Just the dissertation to try fix now 8|

Also I'm making a 2 minute 'How To' video for my house mate Abbeys project tomorrow so hopefully get that up when it's edited :)
